Amazon - is it all it's cracked up to be?

__You might have seen there’s a company called Amazon knocking about. Owned by some rich fella called Jeff, apparently. __

You can pretty much buy owt on there, and it gets delivered the very next day. Sounds good, ey?

But is it all it’s cracked up to be? In our humble opinion, no. The main problem is that the stuff they’re selling can often be found cheaper elsewhere with a quick internet search or even a wander down to your local shops.

Amazon has plenty going for it, but here at Owt for Nowt we reckon it relies heavily on loyalty, ease and in some ways, laziness. Once you’ve signed up, it’s very easy to let the subscription slip out of your account each month and get your goodies with a few swipes.

Plus you get that Amazon telly service - you know, that one where there’s rarely owt decent to watch.

The point we’re making is - shop around! Amazon isn’t loyal to you, or your local high street, so you don’t need to be loyal to it.

Next time you’re about to buy sommat, see if it’s going cheaper elsewhere (make sure you factor P&P into it). If it is, it might just be worth reconsidering that subscription - if you can find the option to cancel on the app!
